There are a few people in N.O. right now that I have spoken to in the last 2 weeks that are looking for an investor to back them up. They see the deals that they can flip and make $30,000 up to $100,000 and in some cases more.
The average guy sees the market as a bad place now, mainly because of the news, but the insiders, those guys who see the deals sitting there everyday are ready to go. Just a thought in case you know someone who would like to make some money in N.O. while everyone else is waiting for the green light from the media.

New Orleans, where the market is S-L-O-W and the future…well, maybe a sleeper opportunity for the person who can buy, hold, then make it big investing in depressed real estate. Not for the person who needs his money back in 3, 6 or even 12 months. Like the forever told stories of those who invested when others wouldn’t and found themselves atop a heap of money.
I don’t know if that will happen but I do know it can and my feelings are that it will. Give me your thoughts and visit my website, TheTullyGroup.com.
The outlying areas away from the city, I believe, will be where the investors will make their money.

Metairie, Louisiana has a hospital. Metairie has many medical professionals operating in a variety of specialties. Fundamental healthcare begins with an individual or family?s access to a general physician, call it a family doctor or for children, a Pediatrician and for women a Gynecologist. Certainly, for people like me, a good therapist; better yet, a Psychiatrist! But why is it that someone in Metairie, Louisiana cannot locate a physician that will take new patients?
CityBlog Metairie, was struck by the frustration that was apparent in Susie Pena’s (a Metairie, Louisiana resident) post on May 9, 2007, which read as follows:
I have been here 1 year this June and have yet to find a doctor that will accept new patients. I am very discouraged that there is no avenue for new residents to find out who is available without a lot of labor intensive efforts.
Does Metairie have a physician association or, does the hospital know of new physicians coming into Metairie that are looking for new patients? It would behoove all communities to have some centralized service that maintains a list of physicians who can accept patients as either “new” or on a rotating basis until the new resident can establish regular healthcare.
